ToolsVista ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including the Instagram Manager tool and its integration with the Meta (Facebook) platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and profile details when you register.
  • Instagram Data: With your explicit permission via Meta's OAuth, we access your Instagram Business or Creator account data including profile information, posts, comments, and analytics.
  • Usage Data: Logs of actions performed within the platform, such as automation rules and scheduled posts.
  • Access Tokens: Long-lived Instagram access tokens required to perform actions on your behalf. These are stored securely and encrypted at rest.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and operate the Instagram Manager features.
  • Execute automation rules (auto-replies, scheduled posts, auto-DMs) on your behalf.
  • Display analytics and insights from your Instagram account.
  • Send notifications about account activity.
  • Improve our services and fix bugs.

4. Meta Platform Data

We use the Instagram Graph API provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. We request only the minimum permissions required:
  • instagram_basic – Read profile and media
  • instagram_content_publish – Publish posts
  • instagram_manage_comments – Read and reply to comments
  • instagram_manage_insights – Access analytics
  • instagram_manage_messages – Send direct messages

We do not sell your Instagram data to third parties. Data obtained from Meta APIs is used exclusively to operate the features you enable.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time. When you disconnect your Instagram account or remove ToolsVista from your Facebook apps, your Instagram data is automatically scheduled for deletion within 30 days.

6. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data in the following ways:
  • Remove ToolsVista from your Facebook Apps (Settings → Apps and Websites). Meta will automatically notify us to delete your data.
  • Contact us at [email protected] with your deletion request.
  • Use the disconnect feature within the Instagram Manager tool.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest for access tokens, HTTPS for all data in transit, and HMAC signature verification for all incoming webhook events from Meta.

8. Third-Party Services

We integrate with Meta Platforms, Inc. (Instagram Graph API). Your use of the Instagram Manager is also subject to Meta's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for Meta's data practices.
